I have it on good authority that Owls are really trendy! Indeed you don't have to look far to find Owl inspired fabrics, stationary and toys.
For this month's free pattern I was, of course, tempted to make an Owl shaped cushion cover, but decided that this was probably taking my cushion addiction just that bit too far so I decided on a small version which could be used as a paperweight or decoration instead.
Ollie stands approx 16cm (6in) tall and is made from just a few balls of Rowan Handknit cotton and shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to make.
